bun rieu (crab noodle soup)

I made bun rieu a couple of weeks ago. It's a noodle soup made with crab meat, eggs, crab paste and a bunch of spices and herbs. Traditionally ground pork is used but since we were going for healthier (and it so happened that ground turkey was on sale a week before), I substituted ground turkey. It tasted exactly the same! I got the recipe from my dad so it's hard to say how much of each ingredient I used. A pinch of this, a "pot" of that, etc.

I love spring break and having extra time to venture out of my kitchen comfort zone. We had friends over for this and still had leftovers which I had to dump after a few consecutive days of eating it. Sorry, only a photo of the pot...
