Guess what? We're having a baby! Words cannot explain the fullness in our hearts that this growing little person has brought. We are so, so grateful. The outpouring of love from family and friends has really helped to settle and reassure us that we’re truly not alone. There are moments when I feel others are more excited. Which is awesome. We’ve gotten past the terrified/freaked out stage and are now more excited/nervous. Just five and half more months and then baby L. Tran will be here!
As much as I want to craft it up and make all kinds of baby things, I have been so lazy. I don’t know why I’m lacking so much motivation but hoping that this trimester will see me better days and more energy to do the things I want.
We’re heading out to London and Paris soon and I’m so excited to get to do this with D. He has always talked about wanting to go to Europe and he’s worked so hard that finally I thought we’d better go now or wait 18 years. Some parts of the trip might
be a challenge, like me having to resist coffee, tea, AND CHEESE, but it’ll be so fun. D downloaded a French speaking app on his phone and it’s been hilarious (and a flashback) to hear him ecouter and repeter. Can’t wait!
